in His design the sky, and it had been (as) smoke: He said to it and to the earth:

25:53 | God said, "Let there be a vault through the middle

vault, and it divided the waters under the vault from the waters above the vault.
God called the vault "heaven". Evening came and morning came: the second

And We send down water from the sky according
to (due) measure, and We cause it to soak in the soil; and We certainly are able
to drain it off (with ease). With it We grow for you gardens of date-palms
and vines: in them have ye abundant fruits: and of them ye eat (and have enjoyment),-
23.:18-19 And it is He who spread out the earth, and set thereon mountains
standing firm and (flowing) rivers: and fruit of every kind He made in pairs,
two and two: 13:3 And do We not send down from the clouds water in abundance,
That We may produce therewith corn and vegetables, And gardens of luxurious growth?
78,14-16 | God said, "Let the earth produce vegetation:
seed-bearing plants, and fruit trees on earth, bearing fruit with their seed inside,
each corresponding to its own species." And so it was. The earth produced
vegetation: the various kinds of seed-bearing plants and the fruit trees with
seed inside, each corresponding to its own species. God saw that it was good.
Evening came and morning came: the third day. Genesis 1:11-13 At the time when
God made earth and heaven there was as yet no wild bush on the earth nor had any
wild plant yet sprung up, for God had not sent rain on the earth, Instead, water
flowed out of the ground and watered all the surface of the soil. God planted
a garden in Eden, which is in the east, and there he put the man he had fashioned.
From the soil, God caused to grow every kind of tree, enticing to look at and
good to eat,
.A river flowed from Eden to water the garden, and from there
it divided to make four streams. Genesis ,2:5- 10 |

| He has subjected the sun and the moon (to His
law): Each one follows a course for a time appointed. 39:5 So He completed
them as seven firmaments in two Days, and He assigned to each heaven its duty
and command. And We adorned the lower heaven with lights, and (provided it) with
guard. Such is the Decree of (Him) the Exalted in Might, Full of Knowledge. 41:12 It
is We Who have set out the zodiacal signs in the heavens, and made them fair-seeming
to (all) beholders; 15:16 | God said, "Let there be
lights in the vault of heaven to divide day from night, and let them indicate
festivals, days and years. Let them be lights in the vault of heaven to shine
on the earth." And so it was. God made the two great lights: the greater
light to govern the day, the smaller light to govern the night, and the stars.
God set them in the vault of heaven to shine on the earth, to govern the day and
the night and to divide light from darkness. God saw that it was good. Evening

their bellies; some that walk on two legs; and some that walk on four. Allah creates
what He wills for verily Allah has power over all things. 24:45 And cattle
He has created for you (men): from them ye derive warmth, and numerous benefits,
and of their (meat) ye eat. And ye have a sense of pride and beauty in them as
ye drive them home in the evening, and as ye lead them forth to pasture in the
morning. And they carry your heavy loads to lands that ye could not (otherwise)

16:5-7 | God said, "Let
the waters be alive with a swarm of living creatures, and let birds wing their
way above the earth across the vault of heaven." And so it was. God created
great sea-monsters and all the creatures that glide and teem in the waters in
their own species, and winged birds in their own species. God saw that it was
good. God blessed them, saying, "Be fruitful, multiply, and fill the waters
of the seas; and let the birds multiply on land." Evening came and morning
came: the fifth day. God said, "Let the earth produce every kind of living
creature in its own species: cattle, creeping things and wild animals of all kinds."

reverence your Guardian-Lord, who created you from a single person, created, of
like nature, his mate, and from them twain scattered (like seeds) countless men

his mate of like nature, in order that he might dwell with her (in love). 7:189 (He
is) the Creator of the heavens and the earth: He has made for you pairs from among
yourselves, and pairs among cattle: by this means does He multiply you: there
is nothing whatever like unto Him, and He is the One that hears and sees (all

of like nature, his mate; and he sent down for you eight head of cattle in pairs:
He makes you, in the wombs of your mothers, in stages, one after another, in three
veils of darkness. 39:6 | God created man in the image of himself,
in the image of God he created him, male and female he created them. God blessed
them, saying to them, "Be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth and subdue it.
Be masters of the fish of the sea, the birds of heaven and all the living creatures

| See they not how Allah originates creation, then repeats
it: truly that is easy for Allah. 29:19 We created the heavens and
the earth and all between them in Six Days, nor did any sense of weariness touch

six Days, then He established Himself upon the Throne, directing all things. 10:
3 | Thus heaven and earth were completed with all their array. On
the seventh day God had completed the work he had been doing. He rested
on the seventh day after all the work he had been doing. God blessed the seventh
day and made it holy, because on that day he rested after all his work of creating.

"The visitation of Mary" |
(And remember) when the
angels said: O Mary! Lo! Allah giveth thee glad tidings of a word from (of?) him
whose name is the Messiah, 'Îsa, son of Mary, illustrious in the world and
the Hereafter, and one of those brought near (unto Allah). P.3:45
Relate in the Book (the Qur'an) (the story of) Mary, when she withdrew from
her family to a place in the East. Y 19:16 And
had chosen seclusion from them. Then We sent unto her Our Spirit and it assumed
for her the likeness of a perfect man. P.19:17
She said: "I seek refuge from thee to (Allah) Most Gracious: (come not
near) if thou dost fear Allah." He said: "Nay, I am only a messenger
from thy Lord, (to announce) to thee the gift of a holy son." She said:
"How shall I have a son, seeing that no man has touched me, and I am not
unchaste?" He said: "So (it will be): Thy Lord saith, 'that is
easy for Me: and (We wish) to appoint him as a Sign unto men and a Mercy from
Us': It is a matter (so) decreed." So she conceived him, and she
retired with him to a remote place. Y 19:18-22
| In the sixth month
the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a town in Galilee called Nazareth, to a virgin
betrothed to a man named Joseph, of the House of David; and the virgin's name
was Mary. He went in and said to her, 'Rejoice, you who enjoy God's favour!
The Lord is with you.' She was deeply disturbed by these words and asked herself
what this greeting could mean, but the angel said to her, 'Mary, do not be
afraid; you have won God's favour. Look! You are to conceive in your womb and
bear a son, and you must name him Jesus. He will be great and will be called
Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his ancestor
David; he will rule over the House of Jacob for ever and his reign will have no
end.' Mary said to the angel, 'But how can this come about, since I have no knowledge
of man?' The angel answered, 'The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the
power of the Most High will cover you with its shadow. So the child will be
holy and will be called Son of God. Gospel according to

the pains of childbirth drove her to the trunk of a palm-tree: She cried (in her
anguish): "Ah! Would that I had died before this! Would that I had been a
thing forgotten and out of sight!" Y.19:23
Then (the child) called out to her from beneath her: Grieve not, surely your
Lord has made a stream to flow beneath you; And shake towards you the trunk of
the palmtree, it will drop on you fresh ripe dates: So eat and drink and refresh
the eye. Then if you see any mortal, say: Surely I have vowed a fast to the
Beneficent Allah, so I shall not speak to any man today. And she came to
her people with him, carrying him (with her). They said: "O Mary ! surely
you have done a strange thing." S.19:24-27
"O sister of Aaron! Your father was not a man of evil, nor your mother
a woman unchaste!" Y.19:28 But
she pointed to the babe. They said: "How can we talk to one who is a child
in the cradle?" He said: "I am indeed a servant of Allah: He has
given me revelation and made me a prophet; And He has made me blessed whereever
I be, and has enjoined on me Prayer and Charity as long as I live; (He)
has made me kind to my mother, and not overbearing (arrogant, insolent) or miserable,
(unblessed); So peace is on me the day I was born, the day that I die, and
the day that I shall be raised up to life (again)!" Such (was) 'Îsa
the son of Mary: (it is) a statement of truth, about which they (vainly) dispute.
It is not befitting to (the majesty of) Allah that He should beget a son. Glory
be to Him! When He determines a matter, He only says to it, "Be", and
it is. Y. 19:29-35 | So
Joseph set out from the town of Nazareth in Galilee for Judaea, to David's town
called Bethlehem, since he was of David's House and line, in order to be registered
together with Mary, his betrothed, who was with child. Now it happened that,
while they were there, the time came for her to have her child, and she gave birth
to a son, her first-born. She wrapped him in swaddling clothes and laid him in
a manger because there was no room for them in the living-space. In the
countryside close by there were shepherds out in the fields keeping guard over
their sheep during the watches of the night. An angel of the Lord stood over
them and the glory of the Lord shone round them. They were terrified, but the
angel said, 'Do not be afraid. Look, I bring you news of great joy, a joy
to be shared by the whole people. Today in the town of David a Saviour has been
born to you; he is Christ the Lord. And here is a sign for you: you will find
a baby wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger.' And all at
once with the angel there was a great throng of the hosts of heaven, praising
God with the words: Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace for
those he favours. Now it happened that when the angels had gone from them
into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, 'Let us go to Bethlehem and see
this event which the Lord has made known to us.' So they hurried away and
found Mary and Joseph, and the baby lying in the manger. When they saw the
child they repeated what they had been told about him, and everyone who heard
it was astonished at what the shepherds said to them. As for Mary, she treasured
all these things and pondered them in her heart. And the shepherds went back
glorifying and praising God for all they had heard and seen, just as they had
been told. Gospel according to Luke, 2:4-20 |
